Wedding Time!

This past Saturday the 23rd I worked my first wedding at Vista Hills. I was extremely excited to see what responsibilities I would be in charge of during this event.  I had previously told our event coordinator, Cat, that I was interested in events so she let me shadow her during the day as the event unfolded.  What was interesting was the tasting room was open till five that day so getting set up for the wedding reception was a bit of a hassle since Vista Hills was still operating under normal working hours.  Needles to say, the wedding reception started on time without a hitch and my main responsibility was to work the downstairs bar.  It was an open bar so the flow of the night went smoothly.  I had a great time talking to different guests and partaking in such a beautiful night for this young couple.  I also worked with the other three interns for the first time and together as a team we excelled to the best of our ability.  Overall, this was by far my favorite time working at Vista Hills thus far and I am looking forward to the next event as the weather gets warmer.
